Where chess players discuss unnecessary things.
Otf stands for off topic forums. It's a place for people who aren't too interested in chess and don't want to main in clubs to just talk on forum topics about random un-chess-related things. The otf community is pretty small, and everyone who's been here for a while knows all or at least most of the community members. Most of the people here are teenagers, aged around 14-16. Some of the legendary threads here are the original t/d, the original will you date the person above you, this is the largest thread on chess.com, rainy forever, and otf dead at night thread. Some of the current posters here are people like Basix, hope, hunky, galaxy, lasninja, nate, dolphin, santi, Franz, pixie, and many others, including myself.

main thing I'm trying to understand is about how you get to forums..I mean is it like a club?
I don't rlly find it easy to get to forums..Usually I just get a notif when someone I follow makes a post.
kids on their iPad because they arent allowed discord and/or instagram most of the time
