I was wondering what instruments and types of music, people on here play? I play the piano, and mainly like playing J.S. Bach pieces. Right now I'm working on the C minor fugue, from book one of the Well Tempered Clavier.
Did JSB also write pieces for a Bad Tempered Clavier?

Lots of keyboards back then, used temperments that gave, really out of tune notes. They even called some wolf intervals, because they sounded like howling.

Basically Bach made music, that needed an instrument that could handle distant keys.
