I don't know how serious you are, but in any case it's a common enough feeling.
But remember the site is really large. There are a lot of people, with varying degrees of knowledge, and on top of it some people are having good and bad days emotionally and will be more prone to whining or making logical mistakes.
A few whiny topics a week may seem like a lot, but it's less than 1% of the users on the site, and those who whine are intellectually and emotionally... not doing so well
Before you call me a b!tch or whatever, look around the forum.
I get it, chess is an intellectual game and when you're not playing well, it makes you feel like sh*t when you get beat. But then you all come on here and cry (literally cry) over the stupidest things. I see degenerates posting about lag, or about another player, or about the administration, or about some other thing that literally has no impact on their life outside of this website.
If chess is causing you THAT much discomfort in your life, you need to seriously re-examine yourself.
Try this:
Turn the computer off
Go outside
Engage in actual social (ahem .. socially distanced) conversation.
I never understood why my dad told me to avoid websites like this when I was younger, but I sure know now.
You're all a bunch of beta males trying to impersonate an alpha male with your "witty" posts and "crafty" play. It's pathetic.
