Why can't I get better?

Hi, everyday I play chess A LOT. In the morning on my way to school I play chess, during school, after school, while I'm eating, literally any chance that I get to play chess I do. But I just cant seem to get better. I do everything that I can to improve as a chess player. It just doesn't seem to work out.

I do my puzzles for about 30 minutes a day, I do the lessons that chess.com offers for premium members, I watch GothamChess a lot to learn on moves and tips but it just never works out. This is not about me plateauing at 600 or something.(Although I do have a separate forum for that.) It's just I can't improve. Everyone around me is demolishing me, taking all my pieces and making fun of me.

I tried talking to my friends about it and they just told me to play chess in my free time and review a lot of GothamChess videos. I feel smarter, but when I actually hop onto a rapid game I just forget everything that I just learned. Do you guys have any tips? If so, please comment them on this forum.

Losen Up. I think U are Putting too much Pressure on yourself. U want to become a pro sooo Bad that U don't See the Progress U have already Made. IT Takes years and years of Training to become a pro. I think U should Focus on the fun in Game ( trying too hard can Take that away) .

Yeah I mean I still play chess when I get mad. Should I just stop playing chess when I'm mad. A lot of people tell me that video games and other things are for fun and that you shouldn't be playing if your not having a good time.

I mean they're kind of disrespectful. They always say that I'm bad and that I'll never improve. Every time they want to play with me I say that I don't want to and they just say that I'm too scared or that I know that I'll get beat.

Doing the same thing over and over is obviously not how people improve.

Playing games is important, but you have to think about your mistakes after the game is over, and then in future games try not to repeat them.

I try to write down my games on a notebook and write how I made that mistake and what I could've done to get a better position but sometimes it takes too long.
