I've lived my entire life without trying a baguette. Am I missing anything?

Absolutely not. My family is definitely not being hold hostage and I am totally not forced to say this. Baguettes and croissants are of course the best food ever. I am very honest.

Evil baguettes evil. So I was told and now I see.

I'd let baguettes be baguettes because perhaps baguettes can't be choosers.

I have been in a Paris Baguette in Berkeley, CA. It is actually nothing like any bakery I have seen in Paris (or anywhere in France). Most of the items there would never be seen in Paris, and most standard French bakery offerings are not available. There is also a significant difference in quality.

So it should be named "Not Paris Baguette". Get the spray paint and masks ready...

Looked at the prices and they're nasty. But I'll try to take some pics. What's the worst they could do to a tourist? Or a rice cake In a bakery?

How does one call this a bakery? It's just a plastic packaging plant.
