Veganism is perfectly acceptable. Any vitamin deficiencies can easily be counteracted.
Debate about being vegan/vegetarian here

Veganism is also cheaper. I wouldn't mind being a vegan but I am a big fan of meat. That being said in the future if I need to get healthier I might switch to a plant pallet.

Not to mention veganism is more humane and is so, so, so much better for the environment compared to animal farming. Furthermore, per acre plant farms produce more calories than a field full of animals. Combine this with the fact that veggies last longer than meat typically, cutting back on animal fields in place of plant farms may be the play.

Though personally I think being a vegetarian is better than being a vegan. Stuff like milk and eggs are really good for you can can still be collected in humane ways.

It's not just killing the animal, the animals are usually heavily drugged coming in so they have no idea what's going on and don't feel pain. It's usually the condition the animal is kept in. Small cages are tortured for animals that need to have a large amount of land. The worse are chickens which are stuffed so tightly that they get heart attacks from the heat of their peers. Farming plants is not nearly as bad because they have no concious and they feel no pain or have any thought of their situation. All they do is sit there, spread their roots, soak in the sun, and chill.
