WOOLLY IS HEARTBROKEN ! 😿

Three days ago two young hedgehogs were bought to the animal sanctuary , by a member of the public. They were in pretty poor shape, grossly under weight just weighing 200 grams. We found them a nice warm spot in one of the empty cat boxes, made it nice and cozy for them , with a shallow bowl 🍲 for their food and water. When I arrived at the sanctuary today to commence with my work, I was given the sad news that both hedgehogs 🦔 had died…….. Woolly was just so completely stunned 🙀I don’t mind telling you , it was hard to stop the tears 😿rolling past my whiskers ……..absolutely gutted .

even I also had a cat with 7 kittens but my community is not a pet friendly apartment so there was a situation to leave the cats in a trust but again for my birthday I was celebrating in a grand star hotel where we are allowed to bring pets at that time I got my pet dog as a gift

This reminds me of this time a little bird hurt it’s wing and couldn’t fly, so we called a wildlife rehab center, and took the little bird in a shoebox filled with a little nest we made out of an old hat and some sticks grass, we safely got him to the rehab center and he hopefully got better. I wanted to share this because OP is someone who helps animals like this, that little bird probably would have died without people like you, so thank you

Maybe, it is the weather, winter i suppose, maybe the cold affects the little hedgehogs..
