Android app 4.7.6 - pawn promotion bug?

Has anyone else seen this?
When I'm doing a puzzle and the solution involves promoting a pawn, the app places the image of the new piece on the seventh (White) or second (Black) rank where the pawn was, but it actually thinks the piece is on the correct square and you can move it from there.
