Problem:

A problem that I was looking through, is this FAKE scam. It pop's up as an advertisement, and claims it's an IQ Test.

The website I am talking about: brainable.com

It's a fake website which charges you money if you enter your email address

A person could easily click on the advertisement, and give their email address. I tested the website out, and gave a fake email. It explains why it needs money, but it's a total scam.

You can get more information here: Youtube Link explaining why Brainable is a scam.

Solution:

We can easily fix this problem, by personalizing advertisements, or reducing the amount of advertisements. On the average page, there is 3 advertisements if you have not removed advertisements. Maybe this could be fixed, as there are a lot of fake advertisements that I am seeing, OTHER than brainable.com.

Maybe moderate ads a bit better, I guess?

The site uses a third-party ad provider and doesn't directly vet ads. It chooses the types that acceptable but sometimes ad creators decide to try and slip things through.

I was using my phone to post that. That's me, don't worry.

Why would you click any of the advertisements knowing that chess.com does not directly moderate any of the advertisements on their platform?

Good Question. I took certain precautions before clicking the link.
