The apps and the website are totally different. They have different capabilities.
They are not supposed to mirror each other.

There is no option to quote a forum comment when using the app. This is the case for both the Android as the iOS app. Only workaround is to use the browser (with a totally different user interface).
This has probably been reported before, but not solved at this moment.
