Totally agree about the unfair bans and mutes. I understand the fair play ban is probably justified (which chess.com has repeated many times over the years) but I am certain that so so many abuse bans are unjustified. The ban system is too easily abused and chess.com simply doesn't spend enough time trying to protect club admins and the like from ban attacks.

(I'd also love to see chess.com listening to the users more - I feel like we get ignored a lot, especially when it comes to club improvements (like @tournamentix's attempts to improve club UI))

Just for information, the forum was made by me, but midnight wanted to help to get more audience here is the original one https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/deep-down-in-problems-on-chess-com

Never got muted before but seeing what is happening to other users right now, it's horrifying.

I don't understand the "Trolls in clubs" part.

If a troll is trolling in your club, what's stopping you from kicking him out? Why would you wait for the moderators to do anything?

he's talking about the chess.com community club, only staff and moderators are admins. Regular members can't. Problem is that staff and moderators don't look at the community notes/live chat, so trolls keep trolling.

A solution is to leave that club. There are thousands of others.

True, but large clubs are also a nice place to meet and talk to people for those who are interested in that kind of stuff

Hmm. Chess.com is making strenuous efforts to reduce lag and improve overall performance. This post seems to be unaware of the more than 300 servers that Chess.com is running and its Realtime Chess Network.
