"Game Abandoned" due to connection issues

Hello,
I live somewhere with a shaky internet connection. I've been losing games due to "game abandoned" even when I have 5-10 minutes on the clock and in a equal or winning position. It's very frustrating. Why would I abandon a game when I'm winning and have time on the clock? Would it be possible to update the code so that disconnections do not trigger immediate (well, 10 second I guess) losses, and let me at least "use" the time I have on the clock to reconnect? This is so frustrating, I'm considering dropping chess.com solely due to this issue.
