But doesn't showing the player a higher potential rating better because they strive to get what they want to achieve. With what you're suggesting is that you aren't that good, and that it's overrating you?
SUGGESTION: Scorecard Rating Bonus

I am rated 800 in Blitz, 900 in Bullet, 900 in Daily, and 950 in Rapid. However, when I game review my rapid games, the scorecard normally suggests I am playing like someone of a much higher rating. Just now I was told that I was 1400; I have been suggested the rating of 1600 and 1750 before.
Personally, I believe that if a player is consistently scoring higher than their rating on scorecard, that they should be given a rating boost. If they didn't deserve it, they'd just tilt down to their previous rating. So in conclusion, it would boost me to say: 1050 in rapid (+100 ELO) and if I survive there, I survive there. If I tilt, no harm done (as I will be back at my original ELO). Lots of players are way too low rated as they joined as a new/casual player and have since gained a lot of skill. One can only play a certain amount of games in a given period of time, and therefore will take a long time to get to their true rating. This feature could solve that.
If you're getting the results that warrant an increase in rating, you'll end up increasing in rating.
The report card is an estimate. Ratings are based on your performances over many games.
