Can you Trade Member Points for Items ?

When I get to 6000, erik said he'll pay for me to have a week in space. Obviously, being an astute businessman, he insists that I wear a Chess.com baseball cap for all TV work.
I've been saving up for the scooter, but I fear blackfirestorm666 may nab it first.

As far as I can tell, nobody has gone for the chess.com fanny pack. It is as good a prize as any.
I call dibs on the birdfeeder though. Hopefully one like this...

You sense inactivity in the forums? It follows then that you can misunderstand the concept of points and rewards. Here is how it might work. You pay a penny for each post you make. After 10,000 posts ($100) you exchange your 10,000 points for a reward worth $5.
