We should start a list of groups that support the initiative so we can be a powerful voice of the community. 
Team Romania as the 6th group in Team Match Leatherboard supports the return to the old system.
Biggest groups should join. Happy to see that NM aww-rats supports this. He is in charge of the second biggest group on the site: !♔NM Aww-Rats Free Video Lessons!♔

I am SA in these above groups/clubs, and admin in many others; The members and admins all liked the old format for news to communicate between admins and members.
I have no clout, but I also agree with the general sentiment here.
I am having problems due to this in both my fighting groups and my tournament groups! The pickup on news has been significantly reduced!
We have seen a drastic impact on our participation levels as well,
I vote to revert back/correct this issue also.

I sent out a news for a game, normally 10-15 would jump in...NONE on this occasion!!!!!!!!!!

I have noticed the same thing: Signup for team matches has dramatically declined leaving as only option messaging members - or leaving notes - individually (which is against site rules). As an admin for Team Washington, the US Chess League and other groups I would like to request reverting back to the old system.
Is anyone coordinating a message to chess.com admin?
VK will you do that please..like gb said?
If there is some way of SAs "signing" the message, it would be much more powerful.
We could make a list where admins can say they support this. Of course that's pretty much what we are doing here. But all the other talk makes it difficult to see how many members support this.
Sad to see that so few News are read by the members now since the feature changed. Seem better switch back to the old way till a better solution get in place.
