draw by repetition with bishops

It seems that the game doesn't recognize a draw by more than two or threefold repetition.  I had a game where we ended up with different colored bishops, but it would not allow me to force a draw.  Review of the game indicates that several positions were repeated.

You have to claim it.

Isn't that what he's just did here in this thread?

I'd go as far as to claim he did....

They should have a grandmaster draw button. Those are cool!

I guess they're called Grischuk draws, now.

Puh-leeze, no Russian is going to accept the sludge that Starbucks serves.

I call it "getting to Starbucks before the lunch crowd."

Yes, but does he have a valid scoresheet?  I deny his claim! (indeed, I rebuke it).

The game was declared a draw when the time ran out- but the game would not allow me to claim a draw

It was an irritating event, and futhermore, if I hadn't taken his pawn, he would have been declared the winner, despite us doing nothing but moving bishops back and forth for 2 minutes

When the game has simplified to K+B V K+B, try to give your Bishop away.

This will end the game immediately: "Draw by insufficient material".

Yes, that is pretty irritating.

I block any player who tries to do something like that to me.
