Facebook App Bug - My Best Rating

Sort:
MiltonVanderslice

The My Best Rating number is reporting my current rating and not my highest rating when using the site as a Facebook app.

Repro:

Goto http://apps.facebook.com/chessfb/

Look at the My Best Rating Number at the top just under my Username and next to my Avatar.

Expected:
The rating should display my highest rating.  Currently it's only displaying my current rating.

Do you have a better place to send these or is this forum the appropriate place?

Not a bug, but perhaps some clarification is needed. It's not meant to be your best (historical) rating but rather your best current rating (e-chess or one of your Live chess ratings, whatever is highest).

Thanks for the clarification.  Here's a couple more that might be that I found tonight.

-Clicking on the "Privacy Policy by TRUSTe" returns a 404.  Google has a cached version of it from a week ago, but it doesn't look like it's currently working.

-All the icons disappear from the My Home dropdown when on this page http://www.chess.com/help.html

-The landing page on http://apps.facebook.com/chessfb/ has a scrollbar that is covering up text when using Chrome (Mac).  This doesn't happen using IE8 (win7)

Interesting! Thanks, we'll have a look at those.

Here's a couple more all having to do with the blog feature on http://www.chess.com/home/edit_blog_settings.html

This is the first time I've entered this feature so everything is the default view and settings.

- The Sidebar Blocks area is too wide and is getting overlapped by the right-hand sidebar.

- The default location in my nameplate sidebar is showing International instead of pulling my current location

- The location icon in the nameplate sidebar is coming up as a missing image by default.  I assume it's trying to reference the default globe icon

The second two show up on http://blog.chess.com/miltonvanderslice

Nice work Milton! I think you should receive two free months of a premium membership.
