and I still would like to know what the hell an "ass sandwich" is.
I'll kindly refer you to our go-to resident guru on that product for the definition...ILikeFlags. (I don't get any kind of referral commission and am not affiliated in any way).

the majority of white americans are actually of german descent, not british.
of course, kempoo's word is all the proof we need.
look it up.
and why would i do that?
If we may come back to the topic...
Regrettably, there are people who are either not nice generally or act in an unpleasant way when things do not go well.
Presumably those managing the site and monitoring behaviour do what they can to minimise or stop abuse but it seems to me that the rest of us can either only grin and bear it, or disable chat.

how is this coming back to the topic?
I think chess.com is a nice place for people interested in chess, unfortunatelly a considerable amount of players, are unnecessarily rude or agressive, insulting opponent in chat window, what's a real pitty. Since I understand chess.com is interested in fair play policy, is there a way to report players with such a behaviour?
I already know you can disable chat, but that's not the point. I belive a person that insults his/her opponent should be penalized to make sure chess.com be a nice place to fair play players.
Thank you.
Was this not the first post on the topic ?
big ass sandwiches !!!!! only in america would someone call thier sandwich bar that , kenpo wrote " the majority of white americans are actually of german descent, not british." figure that's why thier always going for world domination ha ha

Well this topic has been tossed around a little
All of this talk of "rights" to this and that... Does anyone talk of responsibility and respect anymore? I support the right to free speech, but I expect you to voice your speech in a way that is still respectful. Especially from adults!! I'm not sure that a person who uses a chess game to insult someone across the other side of the world to be exercising their right of free speech. I think that they are just being rude and saying that "I can say whatever I want, if it offends you, then that's just your problem" is an extremely childish view. I can't remember the last time I saw a parent let their child get away with that, shouldn't we as adults hold ourselves to a higher standard?
we could band together w/ a chess head peoples court.Rule w/ our policy and punish those we either don't like or opponents who win to many games.i'm for taking them out back....... THIS WOULD NOT END WELL. Let staff handle this stuff.
lets all chill out take a deep breath remember we are humans the highest spieces ---------------- then let nuke the bums !!!!!!!!!!!

Respectful to whom?
Respect...I hate that damn' word.
what's with all this anti-american sentiment on here? No wonder the citizens of the greatest country on earth get annoyed with so many antics and stunts directed against them for being American.
Pictures of pink couches have proven to decrease violence in penitentiaries.
Something to do with the penial gland (penal colony?)

"According to Dr. Paul Boccumini, Director
of Clinical Services for the San Bernardino
County Probation Department, similar results
have been reported at their Kuiper Youth
Center, a co-educational residential facility for
delinquents. Dr. Boccumini states that "the
staff report excellent results, with the
youngsters' aggressive behavior diminishing
quite rapidly. In fact, it has worked so well that
staff must limit their [delinquents'] exposure
because the youngsters become too weak."
Is this a joke? It reads like one :p (Talking about using the color pink to reduce agression as "wavelengths of light reach the pineal and
pituitary glands through neurochemical channels
independent of the optic system")
@NM_ozzie_c_cobblepot, thanks mate
@bigpoison, not sure if you're trolling, but I'll answer in good faith. Being respectful to whoever you're talking to is what I meant. I'm not sure what you don't like about respect. Could you please clarify? It sounds as though you'd prefer to live in a world where people litterally did and said what they felt like to whoever they felt like without thought or consequence. Personally I think that sounds horrible. For example, I like when I go to a store and they say a respectful "thank you, have a nice day" instead of "take your @#$@^ out of my %#@$^ shop!!"
There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with people or disliking them, etc. But to abuse a person (especially unprovoked)... I'm sorry I really just don't understand what it is that you are trying to say
If you want to ask eBay, just find someone who works there and ask them. Not real hard.
Yep, they're in the dating section on craigslist (also an ebay product).
Wrong.
