No analysis board on app. Why?

Why is there no analysis board on the chess.com app? Im reading one of silman's books, and would live to follow it along with an analysis board to better visualize everything. Why isnt there an analysis board, and can there end up being one? Kind of a let down, especially as a diamond member.

you can just go to one of your games, and go back to the start and put whatever moves on the board you want.

It should be be on the menu, that way more people would use it

If you go to Computer and set both players to human, you can analyze anything you want. I do it all the time when I'm on the subway with a chess book.

If you do vs computer but then set both sides to be human you can use that as analysis board.

still adding analysis board feature is important as it allows highlighting squares and arrows which is really important for illustrations

I myself would like to have an analysis board which would take PGN exported games or simply the move list and set it up for me. What I do now is go on my mobile browser to https://chess.com/analysis where I can do just that, but it is ever-so-slightly less convenient.

This option to play with another human is not there in the app anymore with the latest update. And there is still no Analysis mode which is disappointing

The Android app has a Pass and Play option under the More menu option.

Martin, even if you try pass and play you have to resign the game and then only 25% of the time will the app give you the option to analyse game.

I've only played around in with that feature. I tested and sent in a report about it.

Put your mouse pointer on the learn button , do not click on it , but keep it there , next , you fill find a button called analysis , click on that , next you will come into a analysis board where you can analyze.

The OP clearly stated 'on the app' which means on mobile

Why is this so hard for people to understand? Obviously the fact that there is no analysis board in the UI of the app while there is one if you use a browser gives using the app the feeling of inconsistency and incompleteness. It's just a suboptimal user experience.

Huh, this thread somehow got revived a lot of times.

Yep, inconsistencies between desktop and app are quite frustrating, I want to practice openings on my phone, also the computer skill level is using a different measurement?

I wanted to go back to chess.com for the bigger community, but I guess I will go back to lichess app: I really like/need to analyze my games right after playing them.

Oh yes, just saw this! I could not find the "saved games" section. Silly me. Thanks for pointing that out!
