Anybody else having trouble trying to get onto the site lately?  Id' say about half the time I come to the site I get this error:

Service Unavailable - DNS failure

I tried clicking on the help and support link, but get a different error every time.  No other problems with other websites and it's only an intermittent problem.  I need help.  Losing access to chess.com half the time is like someone cutting off my favorite testicle.

Not exactly same wording; I have not had any troubles of the sort you have mentioned; but a few times I have been notified that they are doing some maintenance jobs and the site will be down for some time.

Thanks Reza, I think Oinquarki might have set me on the right path with that link.  We'll see how flushdsn works out for me.

it for sure hasnt be down for that long...ive been on multiple times since the 15th and never once had any issues...

You can always check if only you are having the problem or the chess.com site is down.whenever chess.com site is down,they'll write :maintainence work or something.So in your case,it seems the problem was on your side.

 i can't play live chess ! it says the site is down for maintenance !

nightempler, are you using a bookmarked link to access live chess?

Can you please clear your browser cookies and history, refresh the browser then try it again for me in about 3 minutes as it is actually offline at the moment. We're just restarting it now to add tournament bug fixes.
