it doesnt matter how long it takes you to make a move but you have to keep in mind the clock you are playing under as long as you make the first move and dont get disconnected you can take as long as you want to move under that time format, but if you take too long you will simply just time out and your oppoent will win under the time constraint.
The winner is decided at the end of the time regardless of who is winning or not, if the time runs out on the guy who is winning his opponent wins, if you dont have suffecient material to mate a king and your opponent runs out of time, its then considered a draw, for example if you have a bishop and king to your opponents king and pawn. Also if you are at the end of the game and your oppoent has a biship and king and you have a knight and k ing the game is considered a draw as no one can win under that circumstance.
