I think Premiums can control the number of vacation days in a tournament
Too much vacation time!!! Need to remove a player from my tournament.

I like the idea of having a limited amount of vacation days. I like the idea of no vacation time since its abused but I like the idea of maybe a limit of 3-5 days at max of vacation time more. I had 1 game left in a tournament I was clearly going to be eliminated but the one player I was playing used 20 minutes of vacation time and with me not upgrading my membership for now and me being unwilling to resign I haven't been able to enter any other created chess.com tournaments.

chess.com 100% supports this player's right to act in this way. chess.com wants its premium members to take as much time as they want to finish games--especially if vacation can use up more time. and so many people here will tell you that you're the one being unreasonable for wanting him to speed up or even to simply move in a timely manner. if you want fast game--play live chess. we've heard it all before.
i think he should have his membership revoked. but i'm wrong. ask chess.com.
The player Fernandobd has been holding up my tournament for weeks. He has 153 games in progress (yes, 153!) and has been on vacation for at least 3 or 4 weeks. I tried to remove him from the tournament, but I received an error saying: "You are not permitted to withdraw a player who has unfinished games."
It is crazy that a player can have 2 months of vacation. Even if I am on vacation I usually have access to a computer. We need to have a feature in tournaments where the director can set a maximum number of vacation days each player can use for the tournament. If you use more, then your clock starts ticking again. Also, I understand that chess.com wants to give premium members extra perks, but do people really need months of vacation days each year? It's just an excuse for some people to be rude and hold up an entire tournament.
