Hi All, The idea of this thread is to keep a list of all the record-breaking games of four-player chess! There are a few categories to start with, and I hope that your submissions will not only populate those categories, but also bring to light some more unusual records broken in-game. Leave your comments below with game links/IDs if you think you've found a top-3 contender for any of the listed categories, or showcase an unusual game that sets a record in an entirely new category. I just played a game and my opponent had 40 points (king and one bishop) whereas I had 59 points (queen and other pieces). The "claim this win" button showed, but why? It's the same as resign, which means the opponent gets 60 points and I'm with 59 points.

What's next? All who participated in the 4PC Festival and are going to play in the Semifinals, or who are the first replacement in case someone doesn't show up (that is, those who are the alternate qualified contestants), or who are the winners of the diamond memberships, have received a special email (to the address associated with the chess.com account) with a link to the form required to fill out in order to enter the Semifinals or/and receive the membership prizes. This form includes questions about day and time preferences of the participants, so it should be filled out by November 3rd. On November 3rd (or earlier if enough responses are provided) we will decide and announce the date and time for the Semifinals, that would be the most convenient to the majority of participants. Please take your time carefully to answer the questions related to 4PC setups, and be aware that there may be additional benefits provided for the valuable responses and that your responses will play a crucial role in further decision-making. If you found your username tagged in this message but have not received an email, please contact me asap. If you have any questions left, feel free to ask them here! Thank you for being a part of this exciting event! I look forward to seeing you all in the Semifinals both as participants, spectators, and streamers ✌️
As most of us know, prearranged teams DO exist (and are contrary to the rules of course). But it's mainly the case in the 1500-2000 area. I've NEVER seen that in 2200+ games. Look at: [link removed - LR] The SIDES (!!!) cooperate, which NEVER happens in normal FFA games above let's say 2000. Here the cheaters (or A cheater?) are 2300 and 2600, and let unprotected queens, make assisted mates, etc. Incredible!!! Of course I reported both, I hope the admins will act ASAP. Just wanted to share what is the very first occurrence I see in MORE THAN 24000 GAMES HERE!!! Crazy.

What is the most active/used time in 4 player cuz I barely get any games no matter how long I wait
Peaceful11Michele Oct 22, 2024
Hi guys,I have a question to you all which I think is really important. What do you think about a higher time control for w4pcc teams? I would suggest something like 10|15. Here I listed a few pro and cons:Pros:- More time means more time means stronger moves. This way we have more qualitative games where skill matters more then time!- More games end in a win, not in someone running out of time. This is just an aesthetic point Cons: - Games take much longer-  Time management is less important I would love to hear your opinions and please add new arguments if you have other reasons to change the time control or not!
