When the draw request shows up, the opponent's info goes missing. It will be great if this does not happen because looking at the opponent's score helps me determine if I want to accept the draw.
I now have over 300 notifications piled up in my Android app with no way to get rid of them. Every time a new notification comes in (even though I have them blocked on my phone) it sounds like distant rifle fire because a bunch of the little clicks are all jammed in there at once.Other than this problem, I really like the beta app. Please get this corrected.Also, I do have the latest update to the beta app, I just downloaded it a few minutes ago.

***EDIT***No, it's not working. The notifications are accumulating again with no way to clear them.**********I downloaded the latest update and noticed one of the fixes was for notifications. Nope, same problem. I took the following steps : Rebooted device - no change Cleared cache on app - no change Cleared data on app, logged in again - SUCCESS. Many users aren't going to know how to do that though. When notifications are piling up before I clear them, I'm still getting the "machine gun" noise. But at least I can clear that out now. Thank you for the fix, it was s driving me nuts.
The notification bell indicates notifications but the notification area itself is completely blank and I can't clear count.Also, when I get notifications on my phone, it sounds like a bunch of them trying to come through at once and ends up just making a weird crackling sound. Even if I turn notifications off, it still comes through, I just don't see a visual notice.If it helps, I have a Galaxy S10+
I can't get rid of the notifications count in the app even though no notifications are appearing. When someone makes a move and I get a notification on my phone, it sounds like crackling as if there are multiple notifications all being jammed in at once. Another notification problem is that cleared notifications are coming back, for example, the completed games notification comes back after someone makes a move even if I have cleared it already.
I don't see a lot of activity here. Are there any major issues that need fixing? Are a lot of people trying it? I have played some games and Puzzle Rush on it. It seems pretty good to me. Edit: I see that version 18 of the beta is available today.
Device: Huawei P Smart OS: Android 9 App version: v4.0.0-21716 == I have installed beta version of your beta app. I try start it and I have error: "Invalid logen token spupplied", and for some cases I get "Unknown error: code -1". If I open settings I can see my account name artemyankovskiy. So, I deleted old apps data (from system settings) and restart app. Input my login and my password. After this actions I can successfully logged into app. Incompatible storage format between old stable and this beta apps? BTW, "Enter" link not highlighted(visual) properly on the "register" screen. == Incorrect translation too Russian in puzzles leaderboard time filter (see screen). I think need change translation strings for this dialog: 1. "Hourly" => "За час". 2. "Daily" => "За сутки". english russian == In daily chess I don't find how I can see created challenges from other players? == In daily chess on the site I can plan my moves via "conditional moves" ("условные ходы"), but app does not provide this feature :-(. Any plans for this feature in mobile app?

Seems to be missing in the new app. I know choices have to be made about what to prioritize. I was wondering if there is something technical which makes it difficult in an app. People often expect the app functionality to mirror the website. It would be nice to get some insight into what is possible in an Android app or an iOS app and what isn't.

Have a daily game challenge that was declined on the website but still shows in the app and can't be declined there to remove it from notifications. Gives an error that the game has already started. Had to clear the app data to remove it.
I got installed new v4 last night. Unfortunately I am not happy with the quality of the app. Many things are missing or not working and not much interesting has been added except slightly better graphics. I hope that the list below will be considered as bugs and fixed soon and are not new "functions" :-) Daily chess: 1) List of the games without miniboards is missing 2) Swipe between games is missing 3) Confirming the move leads to the game with the lowest time to do the move and not to the next game 4) In the opening move the forward button doesn't work (I mean when you go back to the older moves you cant move forward back to the current position 5) When you do move, notification that the opponent has done the move doesn't disappear and is still unread (you have to delete it by yourself) 6) The application does not block screen lock anymore. So when you look for 30sec on the game, the screen on the phone turns out. The previous version was blocking the default setting of the screen lock. I guess I and others will find more items instead of Chess.com testers soon, so the list can grow. Appreciate it if there is some response from dev team on the above. Thanks for fixing of the issues soon.
Getting Unknown error code:-1 after completing a rush attempt. It appears to update the site, just doesn't load the dialog to start another attempt.
Any word on when Puzzle Rush will (if it will be) available on the Android app?

@Milan I thought to add some more description in reference to custom theme functionality. For the new Android client (v4), I am not asking about any additional functionalities as compared with older client. Previously we had club pieces, neons, vintage and other ones that were accessible via customization mechanism only (the neon theme as such is currently configured only on the web). Neon pieces are colored green in the selection menu but appear red -- it's actually better to have them green but either variant would be very good to have for contrast (glass board with neon pieces is especially strong). Custom background is another problem -- previous version of Android client had this feature enabled for paying subscribers only. I tried it on non-premium account, the menu wasn't there, I reported multiple times to customer service to no avail (but they acknowledged it was a real bug). The app looks really stunning with overlay board and certain custom images in the background (overlay board is, of course, different from translucent board in very profound ways). The new client does not appear to store images in the cache folders (e.g. 144.png board files) so there is no way for us to override them manually with our own images. I got an understanding that both problems described above are ticketed and in scope, so we should expect them to be worked on while the app is in beta phase (please confirm if possible). I would be happy to provide any additional description to make sure you introduce best correction possible. In a nutshell, I am asking to only introduce all features that were in the previous version, nothing new. Derrick

I just updated the android mobile app. None of my current games show up, the lesson page is blank and I get an unknown error code message on play, puzzles, and lessons.

I've posted about this before, but I still am curious about this. It used to show in the Android app how many Tactics you have done so far in a day. Now you can only see what the last ones that you have done, but it doesn't show what day or time they were done. There right now is no way to know how many you have done. I try and do 25 a day, but as I'm doing them there is no way to check how close I am getting to 25. If I'm on a web browser it shows how many you have done so far on that day. It's easier to do them on the app on my phone instead of the browsers and I am not around computers much during the day. Is this something that is going to be brought back in a future update?

A couple of times recently I have tried to create new challenges in Daily Chess, but although I have filled in the game title, it has not subsequently appeared when the challenge has been created (so I have deleted them). Why is this? I do like to title my challenges, and I would prefer not to issue any more until I know that this function works.

Hello, I finished a couple of games and requested rematch from these opponents. At first I got an error message that I had to make moves in some other games where it was my turn. So I did, and went back to the games I won again and sent rematch. It turns out none of these rematch requests were sent to my intended opponents, but instead were posted as open searches. Something that can be fixed?

In my Android chrome, what I use most, found that I can't collapse your new side menubar. Who is the designer of this??? Tell me how to collapse this. Nowadays I don't browse your website much. Mostly play on apps. If you don't care your users, soon I might have to stop browsing chess.com!
