Hello all, I am wondering how to get more members to join my tournament. I don't want to be a spammer but I also want to have a decent amount of people in tournament. If you guys could help me out below that would be great! Btw this is my tournament: https://www.chess.com/tournament/333-club-open/join

Does chesscom uses USCF or FIDE rules when it comes to insufficient material?

Hi everyone! Just curious what pairing, event management and club management software everyone is using here? Does Chess dot com offer any good tools? Our club is in Media PA and is about 9 months old. We have 100ish members and play mostly dual time control Swiss tournaments. We also have occasional quads and blitz events. Our club currently is only affiliated with US Chess. We have 3 TDs and have been using ChessNut.Club for the past 6 months after having some issues with Swiss Sys. Would also love to know what tournament formats or types of events you've been holding that members enjoy. We have toyed with some variants and with doing some pub chess. We've never run a ladder either but would consider it. Does anyone here report results to both US Chess and FIDE ? Is that easy? Thanks!

Live matches played from ~11th December do not have the match data available to view, including scores and board results. Here are two links to examples, with a screenshot example below:https://www.chess.com/club/matches/live/team-brazil-live/422437https://www.chess.com/club/matches/live/team-france/402304 The matches are also not appearing in the teams' archive: https://www.chess.com/clubs/matches/live/team-france This is affecting the Live Chess World League heavily, as well as multiple other leagues. I have been in contact with Support about this, but all I am getting is that "the concerned team informed me that this isn't a quick fix" (and to be fair to them, I wouldn't expect them to know anymore about the issue than that). But it's still incredibly frustrating to not be told what exactly the issue is, and what is being done to fix it. I have two main questions on this issue: Has the match data actually been saved somewhere (and so the issue is just a matter of ensuring those pages are populated correctly), or is the board and score information lost forever? When will this issue be fixed by, so we know when we can start the new season (currently we are expecting to have our first matches in two weeks, but we cannot continue until this issue has been sorted)? This isn't the first time Live matches have been adversely affected by a bug that, to me, seems like it should have been picked up during testing. Many teams are starting to feel like Live matches just aren't a priority for Chess.com (some of them are saying their players are moving to lichess because of its better stability), and from these continuing issues, I can understand where they are coming from.

I see from elsewhere on the Chess.com Forums, the ability to paste messages into the chat has been removed. When we try to start games with the /match commands for lots of players, this means we are faced with having to type them all out manually. Is it possible that for members of this group, this functionality can be re-enabled?

Hello all, Has anyone ever seen this? https://www.chess.com/tournament/live/junior-bullet-championship-1945213 The winner, who scored 100%: Played the same opponent four times Played a different opponent twice Had eight consecutive blacks in games he did play Had the pairing-allocated bye in Round 13 Did we do something wrong, or...?

Morning everyone. We noticed something very strange in the last 14 days of the British Championships. We have also been able to replicate this in a small group testing. It appears there is a condition where we can start the games with the arbiter commands and the player is not in chess.com/live. We even managed to do it with one player in test where he was not even on chess.com. When said players come back to chess.com and chess.com/live, they cannot see the games or make a move. It does not happen very often and in initial testing it looks like latency is involved with it. Just want to make you all aware
We all get the question: how much time I have for reconnecting before the game is lost? I know that it's 20 seconds if you play a G/3+2. and it's 3 minutes if you play G/60+ anyone knows the exact formula? or a table where it states the increments in reconnecting times vs game tc?
