Been haunted by this tactic puzzle that came up a few days ago. The puzzle itself was straight-forward enough: white exchanges a knight and light-square bishop for a knight, pawn and queen. However, I don't stop there. My recent habit is taking tactics puzzles to the analysis board and winning against the computer, but after several hours I find myself unable to convert this 3-point advantage (+5.46 on the analysis bar). How would you guys approach this?

I was studying Najdorf at office (lol) and found this. https://www.chess.com/games/view/15743127 I know you guys must able to find it. But I just want to say it's very different between solving a puzzle and find something inside a game! Don't know how they can do it! Wish could be like them one day!

Haven’t played a lot of chess recently, especially 10 min or more rapid chess as I was busy, I didn’t played good openings so I was afraid I would lose points anytime as I felt I peaked. That being said, I tried playing a few games todayHere is one of the games, I played well mostly but blundered consecutively at the end.

Hi! I am doing some streaming for chess recently so I decided to do something interesting on Chess.com You all know that chess.com has very limited customization on your board and pieces. So basically I am using third party plugin, with some very basic javascript, replacing the piece picture with my own. it look like this! I have my own kitty knight. I am using Tampermonkey, a chrome plugin, which I think there are more other plugin can do the same. The coding is still very buggy. I think I will publish a better one later. But currently it looks like this (function() {'use strict'; var div = document.getElementById("piece-2");var div2 = document.getElementById("piece-7");var div3 = document.getElementById("piece-26");var div4 = document.getElementById("piece-31"); var img = document.createElement("img");var img2 = document.createElement("img");var img3 = document.createElement("img");var img4 = document.createElement("img"); var oh = div.offsetHeight; img.src = "https://i.im.ge/2021/10/18/o22Na8.png";img.width=oh;img.height=oh;img2.src = "https://i.im.ge/2021/10/18/o22Na8.png";img2.width=oh;img2.height=oh;img3.src = "https://i.im.ge/2021/10/18/o22PAh.png";img3.width=oh;img3.height=oh;img4.src = "https://i.im.ge/2021/10/18/o22PAh.png";img4.width=oh;img4.height=oh; div.style.cssText="";div.appendChild(img);div2.style.cssText="";div2.appendChild(img2);div3.style.cssText="";div3.appendChild(img3);div4.style.cssText="";div4.appendChild(img4); function displayWindowSize(){oh = div.offsetHeight;img.width=oh;img.height=oh;img2.width=oh;img2.height=oh;img3.width=oh;img3.height=oh;img4.width=oh;img4.height=oh;}window.addEventListener("resize", displayWindowSize);})(); Cheeeers everyone! Have a nice day!

I was playing queen’s gambit against the bot for quite a long and I finally beat it! Sad that I didn’t saved the game as I was playing on the phone. Did you guys play any of the Beth bots?

Hi Everyone! I am looking for an affordable chess set to buy in Hong Kong for around 500 HKD. Are there any good shops that I can check here? Thank you for your help.
Win 2/2 games using traxler counter attack, there is a lot of traps in it, i may not play the best but you can see it is quite dangerous for white if you want to play some tricky gambits. Recommend for intermediate players to learn about it. (Mate in two in the first game so opponent resigned)
Have been watching a lot of videos lately that feature the KI system. Had a go today and felt I did quite well, though I lost on time when it was mate it 3 (but to be honest, I only found the mate in 3 AFTER the game).Would love to share my game here and have you all review it and show me how I could've played better.

When people play the Queen's Gambit on me, I usually don't really know what to play after d4 d5 c4 e6 Nc3 Nf6. Is there anything better to do than just developing and castling? (i'm a 1400 btw)
