Retard of the Month I am pleased to announce that for the month of April 2010 Fred Phelps has been chosen as retard of the month! Pastor Fred Phelps of the westboro baptist church is being named The Retard of the Month for his bigotry against homosexuals, for his sexism, for his xenophobic statements against several countries, and for publicly showing disrespect and lack of sympathy towards victims of many accidents, natural disasters, murders and terrorist acts, including but not limited to the World Trade Center bombing on the 11th of September, 2001. Christians generally oppose homosexuals acts, but this man takes his views to the extreme and actually advocates the death penalty for homosexuals acts. He and his congregation, mainly composed of family members, have organized thousands of pickets at various locations both in and outside of the U.S.A., in the last 10 years, preaching their hateful drivel against homosexuals and virtually anyone who disagrees with their insane religious beliefs or actions. During a demonstration, they display signs containing "GOD HATES FAGS", "THANK GOD FOR AIDS", "FAGS DIE, GOD LAUGHS", "AIDS CURES FAGS", "FAGS BURN IN HELL", "FAGS DOOM NATIONS", "GOD GAVE FAGS UP", "THANK GOD FOR 9/11" etcetera. They believe the 9/11 attacks, the death of many American soldiers in Iraq, hurricane Katrina, the Columbia shuttle accident and the murder of the five Amish girls are punishment from God for the U.S.A.'s tolerance of homosexuals acts. As if all of this wasn't bad enough, the heartless bastards picket funerals of dead soldiers and homosexuals, thus showing no sympathy for the friends and family of the deceased. They have even considered picketing the funeral of the five slain Amish girls, although they cancelled the protest, not because they actually realized how wrong it is, but because they were given an hour of radio time on Mike Gallagher's program instead. Protests are not their only means of spreading their hateful garbage. For example, the Westboro Baptist Church owns several sites includingGodHatesFags.com, GodHatesAmerica.com, GodHatesCanada.com and GodHatesSweden.com. The titles of these websites alone are revolting to any decent human being. Shortly after the tsunamis in Asia occurred, they posted the statement on their main site: "THANK GOD FOR 20000 DEAD SWEDES, WISH IT WERE MORE". Here is another evil statement which can be found in their website F.A.Q.: We sincerely hope and pray that all 20,000 Swedes are dead, their bodies bloated on the ground or in mass graves or floating at sea feeding sharks and fishes or in the bellies of thousands of crocodiles washed ashore by tsunamis. These filthy, faggot Swedes have a satanic, draconian law criminalizing Gospel preaching, under which they prosecuted, convicted and sentenced Pastor Ake Green to jail - thereby incurring God's irreversible wrath - Westboro Baptist Church The "God Hates Sweden" website was created as a response to the imprisonment of another retarded fundie who publicly made bigoted statements against homosexuals in Sweden. On top of all of this, Fred Phelps is a sexist as he believes women are not allowed to preach. His website quotes the following biblical passages as evidence: "1 Tim. 2:9-14 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 1 Cor. 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. For his unbelievable display of idiocy and disrespect for the entire human race generated by religion, Fred W. Phelps is being awarded The Retard of the Month Award. In the beginning, when man had gained a rough understanding of his environment, he desired way too much, too fast, and then discovered that he was inadequate, that greatness was not meant for the vast majority, that his journey to death was at best a hobbly ride. To explain this, the abrahamistic religion (with along the way two reincarnations) was created; man was sinful, bad, inadequate, out of his league, etc. and the redemption would come from above, from a higher, better, spiritual dimension. For a very long time this religion left its mark upon a large part of mankind, until after centuries of repression, whether or not as an intentional counter-movement, rationalism finally gained ground, which gave science an enormous boost and now there is again a struggle between different world views.Am I close?

God has some explaining to do. Seriously, and don't tell me it's all just "metaphorical" because then other things in the bible may just as well be metaphors. The bible was also supposed to be written by man through God, if it were written by man by himself why would we follow the bible? THE EARTH IS FLAT: "The earth takes shape like clay under a seal." (Job 38:14) Clay when stamped with a seal is not rounded into a ball, but flattened, like the clay seal found in Israel in 1994. "take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it" (Job 38:12-13) How could the earth be held by its "edges"? A sphere has no edges. "[T]he devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them" (Matthew 4:1-12) Certainly, if the earth were flat, standing atop "an exceedingly high mountain" would allow Jesus to see the whole earth, but there is no mountain tall enough to allow him to see the other side of a spherical earth. At most, one hemisphere would be seen, but not the other. "The visions of my head as I lay in bed were these: I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth; and its height was great. The tree grew and became strong, and its top reached to heaven, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth." (Daniel 4:10-11) The "whole" earth? No matter how tall the tree was, even if it was only a dream, it would not have been visible from the other side of the earth. "To whom then will ye liken God? ....It is he that sitteth upon the circle (chuwg) of the earth" (Isaiah 40:18-23) The Hebrew word used in scripture for "circle" in the verse above is chuwg. If the Bible writer had meant for us to believe that "circle of the earth" meant that the earth was round, the writer would have used the Hebrew word for "ball," which is duwr. The fact that Isaiah didn't use duwr shows that he wasn't trying to tell us the earth was like a ball. Everyone knew what a "circle" was in those times; it meant the same then as it means today. A circle is a flat shape while a sphere is a round one. BATS ARE BIRDS: And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls... And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. (Lev. 11:13, 19) Is there a biological error here? Aren't bats mammals, not birds? Actually, classification of animals and things was made by different means: function or form. In this case, the word we render birds means simply "owner of a wing", the word being 'owph, which comes from a root word which means to cover or to fly. But KJV chose "bird" and apparently no one sees a need to change it -- though they ought to. HARES CHEW CUD: And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. (Lev. 11:6) Hares (or some say rabbits, but "hare" is what is in mind here) are not ruminants; they practice refection. Refection is a process in which animals like hares eat their own dung mixed with undigested material. The Hebrew does not use the word for "dung". Therefore this passage is wrong. Contrast this with what cows and some other animals do, rumination, which is what we moderns call "chewing the cud." They regurgiate partially digested food in little clumps called cuds, and chew it a little more after while mixing it with saliva. Here is the Hebrew word for "cud" - gerah, the cud (as scraping the throat): - cud. THE SKY IS A SOLID STRUCTURE: And God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. (Genesis 1:6-8) The word "firmament" implies a solid material, coming from the Latin word "firmamentum." It also says that there is water above the skies (heaven), sky refers to Earth's atmosphere. There is no water above the sky, only within it. THE EARTH IS SUSPENDED BY SPACE PILLARS: "He shakes the earth from its place and makes its pillars tremble." (Job 9:6) We now know that no, the Earth does NOT have pillars. "He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved." (Psalm 104:5) Nor does it have "foundations" LIGHT AND PLANTS CREATED BEFORE THE SUN: - "And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day." (Genesis 1:3-5) - "Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day." (Genesis 1:11-13) - "And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day." (Genesis 1:14-19) Plants need sunlight in order to make chlorophyll. There is no light without the sun, the sun is the Earth's only natural form of light. It also says that the moon is a light, which it's not. PI EQUALS 3: "And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about." (1 Kings 7:23) The term “sea” here refers to a large circular tank, but that is not the interesting part. Rather, it is the part about the tank being ten cubits across and thirty in circuferemce. Every high school geometry student knows that the circumference of a circle divided by its diameter gives you pi. In this case, we have a cricumference of 30 and a diameter of 10. That implies that pi equals three. But, actually, pi doesn't equal three. Thus, what is being described here is a logical impossibility. Even God can't construct a circle with a diameter of ten and a circumference of thirty, just like He can't build a rock so heavy even He can't lift it. Pi equals about 3.141592 THE SUN MOVES AROUND THE EARTH: "He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved." (Psalm 104:5) The Earth moves around the sun. "The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises." (Ecclesiastes 1:5) The sun itself does not move, rather the Earth moves around the sun. To someone who has not seen beyond their skies this would be obvious interpretation. "And the sun stood still...So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day." (Joshua 10:13 ) his verse reports that the sun stood still so Joshua could finish all of his killing before darkness came. This implies that the sun had to have been moving in the first place in order for it to in any way come to a stop.
Hey all, I am just wondering if others get fairly frequent messages, either questioning the reasons why you hold the beliefs you do concerning god or directly challenging what they assume your beliefs to be. I had not until recently, but I have had 3 such messages in the last month. The first from a well intentioned christian zealot bent on conversion. The second, a well intentioned, but sadly brainwashed teenage christian zealot. And the last, and most irritating, was from a kid who merely wrote "why not". The first two I wished not to be rude so I engaged knowing what would happen. The third just pissed me off. It seemed rude to me, but I could just be a little sensitive about social convention. I am mostly just wondering if others are seeing an increase in this type of thing and whether I should feel differently about my reluctance to engage in dialogue. My assumptions are that these people really do not wish to discuss, but rather to convert or annoy.
For those interested in watching the movie "Agora" about Hypatia of Alexandria : http://www.movies-links.tv/movies/agora/ (there's some writing at first in Spanish but the dialogue of the movie is in English - I watched it on the novamov #20 links) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1186830/

Did you ever experience the moment that is so eloquently expressed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyjNXdEGjO4 This really resonated with me and I can vividly remember the time when I had that epiphany, and it was exactly as described in the video linked above. For me, it happened sometime in my late adolecent - early adult years, after a long infatuation with the supernatural, and religious claims, I happened to pick up a book called "complexity: the emerging science at the edge of chaos and order". The title was exiting enough to lure me in, and what was contained within was a lively description of a process of science, and the people involved in it, in exploring something fundamental to existence. It conveyed the exitement and wonder of real, rigorous science, and it simply lit my mind on fire. All the supernatural stories and testimonies that had impressed me before, looked crude, sloppy and childish in comparison. I didn't abandon the belief in the supernatural quite at that time yet, but that spark did kick of the process, and once it got started, it revolutionized my world view within months; exited by this book, and craving more, I looked into the "popular science" section of the bookstore, and picked up the first book that looked intriguing to me - "The Selfish Gene" by Dawkins. Half way through that book I had my epiphany, the moment described in the linked video. How about you, have you had your epiphany... yet?

When the judgment was pronounced against Jesus, it was about the sixth hour on the day of Preparation for the Passover (John 19:14) 70. Did Jesus pray to The Father to prevent the crucifixion? Yes. (Matthew 26:39; Mark 14:36; Luke 22:42) No. (John 12:27) 71. In the gospels which say that Jesus prayed to avoid the cross, how many times did he move away from his disciples to pray? Three (Matthew 26:36-46 and Mark 14:32-42) One. No opening is left for another two times. (Luke 22:39-46) 72. Matthew and Mark agree that Jesus went away and prayed three times. What were the words of the second prayer? Mark does not give the words but he says that the words were the same as the first prayer (Mark 14:3 9) Matthew gives us the words, and we can see that they are not the same as in the first (Matthew 26:42) 73. What did the centurion say when Jesus dies? Certainly this man was innocent (Luke 23:47) Truly this man was the Son of God (Mark 15:39) 74. When Jesus said My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken Me ? in what language did he speak? Hebrew: the words are Eloi, Eloi ..(Matthew 27:46) Aramaic: the words are Eloi, Eloi .. (Mark 15:34) 75. According to the gospels, what were the last words of Jesus before he died? Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit! (Luke 23:46) "It is finished" (John 19:30) 76. When Jesus entered Capernaum he healed the slave of a centurion. Did the centurion come personally to request Jesus for this? Yes (Matthew 8:5) No. He sent some elders of the Jews and his friends (Luke 7:3,6) 77. Adam was told that if and when he eats the forbidden fruit he would die the same day (Genesis 2:17) Adam ate the fruit and went on to live to a ripe old age of 930 years (Genesis 5:5) 78. God decided that the life-span of humans will be limited to 120 years (Genesis 6:3) Many people born after that lived longer than 120. Arpachshad lived 438 years. His son Shelah lived 433 years. His son Eber lived 464 years, etc. (Genesis 11:12-16) 79. Apart from Jesus did anyone else ascend to heaven? No (John 3:13) Yes. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven (2 Kings 2:11) 80. Who was high priest when David went into the house of God and ate the consecrated bread? Abiathar (Mark 2:26) Ahimelech, the father of Abiathar (I Samuel 1:1; 22:20) 81. Was Jesus body wrapped in spices before burial in accordance with Jewish burial customs? Yes and his female disciples witnessed his burial (John 19:39-40) No. Jesus was simply wrapped in a linen shroud. Then the women bought and prepared spices so that they may go and anoint him [Jesus) (Mark 16: 1) 82. When did the women buy the spices? After the Sabbath was past (Mark 16:1) Before the Sabbath. The women prepared spices and ointments. Then, on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment (Luke 23:55 to 24:1) 83. At what time of day did the women visit the tomb? Toward the dawn (Matthew 28: 1) When the sun had risen (Mark 16:2) 84. What was the purpose for which the women went to the tomb? To anoint Jesus body with spices (Mark 16: 1; Luke 23:55 to 24: 1) To see the tomb. Nothing about spices here (Matthew 28: 1) For no specified reason. In this gospel the wrapping with spices had been done before the Sabbath (John 20: 1) 85. A large stone was placed at the entrance of the tomb. Where was the stone when the women arrived? They saw that the stone was Rolled back (Mark 16:4) They found the stone rolled away from the tomb (Luke 24:2) They saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb (John 20:1) As the women approached, an angel descended from heaven, rolled away the stone, and conversed with the women. Matthew made the women witness the spectacular rolling away of the stone (Matthew 28:1-6) 86. Did anyone tell the women what happened to Jesus body? Yes. A young man in a white robe (Mark 16:5). Two men ... in dazzling apparel later described as angels (Luke 24:4 and 24:23). An angel - the one who rolled back the stone (Matthew 16:2). In each case the women were told that Jesus had risen from the dead (Matthew 28:7; Mark 16:6; Luke 24:5 footnote) No. Mary met no one and returned saying, They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him (John 20:2) 87. When did Mary Magdelene first meet the resurrected Jesus? And how did she react? Mary and the other women met Jesus on their way back from their first and only visit to the tomb. They took hold of his feet and worshipped him (Matthew 28:9) On her second visit to the tomb Mary met Jesus just outside the tomb. When she saw Jesus she did not recognize him. She mistook him for the gardener. She still thinks that Jesus body is laid to rest somewhere and she demands to know where. But when Jesus said her name she at once recognized him and called him Teacher. Jesus said to her, Do not hold me... (John 20:11 to 17) 88. What was Jesus instruction for his disciples? Tell my brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see me (Matthew 2 8: 10) Go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God (John 20:17) 89. When did the disciples return to Galilee? Immediately, because when they saw Jesus in Galilee some doubted (Matthew 28:17). This period of uncertainty should not persist After at least 40 days. That evening the disciples were still in Jerusalem (Luke 24:3 3). Jesus appeared to them there and told them, stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high (Luke 24:49). He was appearing to them during forty days (Acts 1:3), and charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise ... (Acts 1:4) 90. To whom did the Midianites sell Joseph? To the Ishmaelites (Genesis 37:28) To Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh (Genesis 37:36) 91. Who brought Joseph to Egypt? The Ishmaelites bought Joseph and then took Joseph to Egypt (Genesis 37:28) The Midianites had sold him in Egypt (Genesis 37:36) Joseph said to his brothers I am your brother, Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt (Genesis 45:4) 92. Does God change his mind? Yes. The word of the Lord came to Samuel: I repent that I have made Saul King... (I Samuel 15:10 to 11) No. God will not lie or repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent (I Samuel 15:29) Yes. And the Lord repented that he had made Saul King over Israel (I Samuel 15:35). Notice that the above three quotes are all from the same chapter of the same book! In addition, the Bible shows that God repented on several other occasions: i. The Lord was sorry that he made man (Genesis 6:6) I am sorry that I have made them (Genesis 6:7) ii. And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do to his people (Exodus 32:14). iii. (Lots of other such references). 93. The Bible says that for each miracle Moses and Aaron demonstrated the magicians did the same by their secret arts. Then comes the following feat: Moses and Aaron converted all the available water into blood (Exodus 7:20-21) The magicians did the same (Exodus 7:22). This is impossible, since there would have been no water left to convert into blood. 94. Who killed Goliath? David (I Samuel 17:23, 50) Elhanan (2 Samuel 21:19) 95. Who killed Saul? Saul took his own sword and fell upon it.... Thus Saul died... (I Samuel 31:4-6) An Amalekite slew him (2 Samuel 1:1- 16) 96. Does every man sin? Yes. There is no man who does not sin (I Kings 8:46; see also 2 Chronicles 6:36; Proverbs 20:9; Ecclesiastes 7:20; and I John 1:810) No. True Christians cannot possibly sin, because they are the children of God. Every one who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God.. (I John 5:1). We should be called children of God; and so we are (I John 3: 1). He who loves is born of God (I John 4:7). No one born of God commits sin; for Gods nature abides in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God (I John 3:9). But, then again, Yes! If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us (I John 1:8) 97. Who will bear whose burden? Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2) Each man will have to bear his own load (Galatians 6:5) 98. How many disciples did Jesus appear to after his resurrection? Twelve (I Corinthians 15:5) Eleven (Matthew 27:3-5 and Acts 1:9-26, see also Matthew 28:16; Mark 16:14 footnote; Luke 24:9; Luke 24:3 3) 99. Where was Jesus three days after his baptism? After his baptism, the spirit immediately drove him out into the wilderness. And he was in the wilderness forty days ... (Mark 1:12-13) Next day after the baptism, Jesus selected two disciples. Second day: Jesus went to Galilee - two more disciples. Third day: Jesus was at a wedding feast in Cana in Galilee (see John 1:35; 1:43; 2:1-11) 100. Was baby Jesus life threatened in Jerusalem? Yes, so Joseph fled with him to Egypt and stayed there until Herod died (Matthew 2:13 23) No. The family fled nowhere. They calmly presented the child at the Jerusalem temple according to the Jewish customs and returned to Galilee (Luke 2:21-40) 101. When Jesus walked on water how did the disciples respond? They worshipped him, saying, Truly you are the Son of God (Matthew 14:33) They were utterly astounded, for they did not understand about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened (Mark 6:51-52)

And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead and...died with him. So Saul died..." 2 Samuel 21:12 says "...the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa." Gen 2:17 says "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day thou eastest thereof thou shalt surely die [note: it doesn't say 'spiritual' death] Gen 5:5 says "And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died." Matt 1:16 says, "And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus..." Luke 3:23 says "And Jesus...the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli" James 1:13 says "..for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man." Gen 22:1 says "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham..." Gen 6:20 says "Of fowls after their kind and of cattle [etc.]...two of every sort shall come unto thee..." Gen 7:2,3 says "Of every clean beast thou shall take to thee by sevens...Of fowls also of the air by sevens..." John 19:30 "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." Gen 32:30 states "...for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved." John 1:18 states, "No man hath seen God at any time..." Factual Errors 1 Kings 7:23 "He made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about." Circumference = Pi() x Diameter, which means the line would have to have been over 31 cubits. In order for this to be rounding, it would have had to overstate the amount to ensure that the line did "compass it round about." Lev 11:20-21: "All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you." Fowl do not go upon all four. Lev 11:6: "And the hare, because he cheweth the cud..." Hare do not chew the cud. Deut 14:7: " "...as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof." For the hare this is wrong on both counts: Hare don’t chew the cud and they do divide the "hoof." Jonah 1:17 says, "...Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights" Matt 12:40 says "...Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly..." whales and fish are not related Matt 13:31-32: " "the kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed which…is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown is the greatest among herbs and becometh a tree." There are 2 significant errors here: first, there are many smaller seeds, like the orchid seed; and second, mustard plants don't grow into trees. Matt 4:8: " Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them." Unless the world is flat, altitude simply will not help you see all the kingdoms of the earth.

What is your personal belief. I am personally an apatheist
May be a 'heretic' question, but what do 'godless' do at this festive season? Do you celebrate, get drunk, give presents or just ignore the whole humbug?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCUYiflkXHc I thought it was worth sharing. Atheism offers nothing to me,it never has and never will,it doesn't make me feel good or comfort me,it's not there for me when I'm sick or ill,it won't intervene in my times of need or protect me from hate,it doesn't care if I fail or succeed,it won't wipe the tears from my eyes,it does nothing when I have no where to run,it won't give me wise words or advice,it has no teaches for me to learn,it can't show me what's bad or nice,it's never inspired or excited anyone,it won't help me fulfill all my goals,it won't tell me to stop when I'm having fun,it's never saved one single soul,it doesn't take credit for everything I achieve,it won't make me get down on bended knee,it doesn't demand that I have to believe,it won't torture me for eternity,it won't teach me to hate or despise others,it won't tell me what's right or wrong,it can't tell nobody not to be lovers,it's told no one they don't belong,it won't make you think life is worth living,it has nothing to offer me, that's true, but the reason Atheism offers me nothing is because I've never asked it to,Atheism offers nothing because it doesn't need to,Religion promises everything because you want it to,You don't need a Religion or to have faith,You just want it because you need to feel safe,I want to feel reality and nothing more,Atheism offers me everything, but Religion has stolen before.
