I am now taking lessons from Chien, and can state unequivocally that he is an outstanding teacher. His patience and insight into what a mediocre player like me needs to look at is outstanding. I would recommend instruction through him to anyone.

I also appreciate the time and effort he invests in the long time control tournaments. He does a fantastic job managing them.

Chien has done an amazing job organizing online tournaments. Very professional, very responsive. 10/10. Thanks for everything you do!

Chien provides a tremendous service to the chess community by organizing online tournaments that utilize slow time controls. In an era when the largest chess company and the biggest chess icons are decidedly pushing the game toward more speed chess and less classical chess, it is a significant and valuable feat to create online spaces for slow chess. I'm grateful to Chien for the huge amount of work that he puts in to make this possible!

I also appreciate the time and effort Chien invests in the long time control tournaments I participate in. Very greatful to him as I can meet and play serious players.

I'm playing in my first 90+30 tournament organized by Fhunfi. He is an absolute master of this - the tournaments are organized strictly and clearly. Fhunfi makes the necessary and sufficient effort to keep the pace of the tournament going.
These tournaments are a real gem of online chess, because nowadays fast formats are very popular, which can't teach you to play well. Fhunfi's efforts allow us to continue to enjoy classical chess with opponents around the world in the computer age. Thank you, my friend!
I invite everyone who also plays lichess to join the 90+30 Fhunfi club there and participate in his tournaments.

I can not put into words how much I have learned from playing just a few games with fhunfi, he is a great player, and an even better teacher! The classical community also seems a much friendly and active place, helping a lot specially players who compete OTB tournaments. I really can't recommend both fhunfi's classes and this community enough. If you are a competitive player, you have to check this out!

Fhunfi has done such an awesome job of running the 90+30s tournaments and other events! He is on top of everything and always courteous and respectful. He really makes these events run just perfectly. He must be spending a very large amount of his personal time to organize and publish the events/pairings/results while at the same time politely reminding everyone to schedule and play their games on time. Thank you Fhunfi, this is an indispensable service and you do an excellent job!!! Out of 5 stars, I would give 6.

A writing from 1 of friend

An insightful quote there: Being good at chess is not the only ultimate goal. Perseverance is the ultimate goal. People who never become good but have played chess for 50 years are a lot successful than GMs who would quit chess after one awful tournament.

"No offense, but here's an unprovoked insult."

Why even make this comment? What is wrong with you?
