ty skwerly but as the urusov gambit isnt very well known there aren't very many videos on it. Any other ideas?

Chess Position Trainer will help you learn your opening lines but you will need to work out what those lines are first.
Is there a version of that for mac os X Knight?

There are only 3 urusov gambit videos on youtube and they dont look very far into the lines :/

Now you have to trawl the net to find a decent collection of games, and SCID has very good training features, you just need to take some time to explore and learn them.
Please post the moves for this gambit, and I'll see if I can find games for you.

I use SCID for storing game files I use for turn-based chess, youcan get updated files from TWIC's web site.

I don't know how to do all the fancy stuff with SCID but it is good for working out your opening lines by comparing GM's past games. Check out one of my past topics for a how to upload file to SCID.

Hey all, just wondering if there is any software to help me study openings? I want to study the Urusov Gambit but as it is not on chess mentor and it hard to get to in games. But when I do get to it, I have little idea on what to play. I was wondering if there was any software to test me on it so I know all the lines to it but also when my opponent makes a mistake, how to use it to turn my game into a winning postion. Also any other ideas on how to study openings would be appreciated.
