Tomato made a mistake and dumped the queen, june has been cautious in the opening. I agree I have an edge here, but not much of one. I'd just about rather be white.

Not much you can do to stop f4. If you capture the bishop with the pawn rather than the knight, it destroys your pawn structure. I think you're still paying the price for wasting tempi with the bishop earlier on, it allowed me to develop faster.
Taking my time here, I have a few moves I need to consider.

Yeah, I allowed the bishop tempo to do discourage you from taking in the center. I didn’t think the tempo would be a big deal.

I'm still travelling, and in a hotel now (checking out soon). Tonight I'm camping in a tent, so will not have internet access for 1-2 days (unless there is a community lodge with internet, but I don't think there is).
It's been raining but yesterday it stopped, so the waterfalls in North Carolina are pretty amazing.
