I am 'just' by three days a junior.
How long have you been a member of Chess.com?

Around 10 min. XD
LOL - I guess that makes you a Sophomore then, eh?
I have sent out all the invites that I can for the first day. Those who have posted here (or those who haven't) simply click on the link for your class, apply to the group, and I (or one of my admins) will accept you.
Have Fun Everybody!!!
Wouldn't that be a Freshmen?
Actually, we don't have any freshmen yet. Anyone who joins after May 7 this year will be a freshman. We're still in year 3.

When are any of these slackers actually going to hand in some work - and graduate?

NOOOOO gab you have been here 1 less day than me!! I never noticed
I was in hospital bro, if not, I'd never a discovered internet, yo!

I wouldn't mind getting in on this :)

How long have you been a member of Chess.com? We are gaining new members every day, but there are some faces that are so familiar that they are a part of the landscape here. It seems as if there's only a few of us active who have been here since close to the beginning, but I'm betting there's a whole lot more than it looks like. So I've formed a few groups to help identify everyone's seniority.
(for those who joined during the 1st year (May 7, 2007 - May 6, 2008)
(for those who joined during the 2nd year (May 7, 2008 - May 6, 2009)
(for those who joined during the 3rd year (May 7, 2009 - May 6, 2010)
(for those who will join during the 4th year (May 7, 2010 - May 6, 2011)
Everybody fits in somewhere. Join the one you belong to, and we can start having some fun with this. I'm obviously going to need a few administrators to help me run these and keep them active too. Let me know if you're interested.

There aren't a lot of data points, but it's still interesting to note that the average ratings of each of those groups correlates to the seniority of the members with the most senior group having the highest average rating.
Could this be an indication that simply being a member of chess.com improves your game?
(Yes, I know that there's selection bias towards active forum participants and those willing to join such a group and that it's also not a statistically significant sample size, but it's still interesting to note)

Close to a year and a half I think.
You can't ride in on your grandfather's coat tails, young iteration of Kupov.
Back in those days the Kupovs were 7 feet tall with long thick manes of hair and a laughter that could shake a room.
The next generation will be capable of giggling and scampering out of the room, and that's it I'm afraid.
[edit: I forgot to mention the wisps of baby-fine hair and little rat faces.]

I hope these new groups will be at least as exclusive as the the-dark-knights - which limits membership to ...
"anyone who likes Batman or the new Batman movie, anyone who likes to use the Alekhine, Indian, Nimzowitsch, Zukertort, Mikenas, Lemming, Australian, Anglo-Lithuanian, Horsefly, or Black Mustang Defences, anyone who completed a game in my Dark Knight Tournament, or anyone else who wants to join."
