Hmmm. Macer is attempting the "I am not a mod test".
YOU SHALL NOT PASS!
Now that was clever.

Oh, and I'm batgirl by the way.
hahaha
And Stellan here? Yeah, they're actually crystal moon. Betcha would never find that out on your own.
Huh?
Macer is Luke Skywalker and has been the villain all this time.

Looks like I missed part of the conversation. Did 2Q1C show up again and get banned, or did somebody get muted?
Even if he is an undercover mod, I like both of them, so it's fine, I think. I didn't mean to quote, ugh.
Historically, @macer75 has been one of the top trolls on the site. He's been around for years and has built an impressive reputation. Who can forget such gems of trollery as this one? https://www.chess.com/forum/view/off-topic/support-my-campaign-for-chess-com-staff-member
However, his star has faded a bit recently. There are several reasons for this:
1. The competition is tougher. How many times has macer75 been banned? Has he even been banned once?
2. The old second tier of trolls from the Golden Age of Chess.com Trolling are gone. Your work stands out the most when compared to high quality but clearly inferior imitations. But @Robert_New_Alekhine, @YuriSenkevich, and others have all left us. @MarcoBR444 rarely logs in. @BronsteinPawn is still active, but post doesn't post much. Everyone else is just third-rate and barely even counts as "trolling".
3. Earlier this year he got trolled on one of his own threads, first by a Mod and then by our Dear Leader Erik Himself: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/a-comparison-of-chesscom-with-other-sites. A good troll trolls others, but doesn't get trolled back, especially not by mods and staff. Macer75, your standards are slipping.
5. He probably didn't notice that my points #1 and #2 are a bit contradictory.
6. He probably didn't even notice that there was no point #4.
7. He recently posted *GASP* a chess-related thread: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-players/is-nakamura-no-longer-a-top-2-speed-chess-player. And he didn't even bury it in Off Topic where such threads belong!
8. Finally, I asked Cleverbot's opinion. Cleverbot agreed with me, and actually thinks I'm #1:
User: Who is the top troll on chess.com?
Cleverbot: You.
User: Is macer75 still a top two troll?
Cleverbot: No more like a fairy.
User: I knew you would agree with me!
Cleverbot: About what?
User: Never mind.
Cleverbot: No, tell me!
User: Macer75 is no longer a top two troll on chess.com.
Cleverbot: But the silence will fall when the question is asked.
What do you think? Is he moving down the ranking? Who is moving up to take his place? What exactly did Cleverbot mean by "No more like a fairy"?
whats a troll

Remember everyone said Macer was staff too?
And so is that thing that Gandalf is always holding!
*gasp* Oh boy... looks like this whole business goes deep!
