Of course, I vote rich. Mature, balanced, level headed, unbiased...
lol
Nope.
Disregard this guy, I'm pretty sure he plays the French defense.

Nothing wrong with the French. Be7 Rubinstein French for me :)
It's easy to be fer when you have no power. How would you handle the power do delete anything on chess.com forums? To lock topics?
I say vote for me! I need an excuse to be more on chess.com as I am slowly losing my games on time, and you can see me less and less here.
Vote padman, and I will summon tempests to beset those who mock the righteous order of erik's kingdom.
But seriously, maybe a word-filter can catch out such a varmint as ran amok earlier. I mean, there is one for live chess and all. More than 1 or 2 f-bombs or other nasties and the user can be suspended until a mod comes on and scopes out what they're up to.
Nice idea but it can hardly catch all variation of sh!t, sh1t etc...
uhmmm, what did I missed while I was off-line?
Which offensive posts, who was the clown.... what are you all talking about?.... arggg, I am never here when it gets interesting... :)
Kokino - There was a member (That even had an offensive name) and was posting offensive topics for around maybe an hour? I don't know I wasen't there for all of it. (Like maybe 1 forum topic every 2 minutes)
My proposal: any moderator must have at least 60000 member points.
Is there a list somewhere?
I still have a few more member points to get then :P
Hey, I missed all the fun! What did this guy posted?
Oh, and yeah, pick me! My psychic powers will track down any spammer or ham-lover and sent him to his moma's basement crying while I laugh hysterically and sharpen my chainsaw.

huh !? that mean rich can qualify ....aah no way you gotta be kidding me :-p
Do not select moderators from the members. I have seen it going wrong so many times. Keep it professional. It doesn't mean you have to pay the new moderator. But there needs to be a sense of professionalism. If a member is going to apply for the spot, ask them to stop chatting in the forums, so they can fill their duty without getting into personal conflicts with other members.

A very good point there.

Sheesh, people...do you like car wrecks, too?
Thanks to Erik for tending to it so quickly and at an odd hour.
Also thanks to the members who pointed it out to me so it could get reported. Chess.com members are pretty good at helping each other and keeping the place clean and safe. It's a good community, and anyone can help maintain it--with or without a pawn next to their name.

Put Lisa "Xenia" V on the job, and I'll whip your clowns back to Barnum & Bailey.
I volunteer for a "whooping" from Xenia !
