The funny thing is, I imagine sprenone thinks he's "winning."
Actually, I'm trying to cook Chinese food and he's distracting me, so I guess in a way he is?

What are you cooking?
Electic pAwn we have met at another site and you know my strength as a player as i have single handedly crushed and demoralized every player there. In every way my game has inproved greatly.
Yeah, but to stay on topic... what would you do as a mod?
(except for you and your brother fondling unsuspecting blondes)

Well, it was supposed to be a three sauce chicken recipe from Wei-Chuan's Chinese Rice and Noodles (highly recommended, by the way), but then I realised I didn't have enough sesame oil (or bean threads or basil, I already knew that anyway!), so I had to improvise a little; some chili oil, jalapenos in place of dried red chilis (also running out; too much Kung Pao), and green onions to supplement the abundance of ginger root. The magic of cornstarch allowed me to greatly reduce the boiling time, too. I've a tasty ginger aftertaste, which will surely make the forthcoming green tea even more delicious.
It's hard for native Japanese speakers to end on a consonant (even borrowed words) - they often plug a vowel on the end by force of habit.
I'm sure you're right. I think the use of "Jenni" rather than "Jenny" is pretty uniquely her, however. It's funny, because Jen really hates anyone elongating her name beyond that first syllable, but even she won't begrudge my friend and her darling way of speaking.
I squashed you guys below my feet like you were coach roaches, lol. Eating your rank at will. You know what i say is true, lol electric pawn i would not have know it was you until you open your big fat mouth. How many days did i make you cry at that other site. Such memories it felt so good blasting you guys. I loved it every time i dragged you guys rank back to 1000. To hear you beg for me to stop beating you bullies. Every new person that came in you bullied and i took your points that you took from them. LMAO. you rember how me , 206454, jenny and matador kept taking you guys rank points.
This is the only site I've joined. If you were such a bad ass at that other site, why aren't you still there? Why don't you go back?
I've got an idea...
Hey, sparenone; we're all waiting for you to show at the other site, you pansy! Jenny and matador and, um, number guy are like begging for help, because we're crushing them so hard! I bet you're too much of a wuss to go over there and take your beatings like a man, though. We'll all be waiting for you.
Yeah, I'm over there waiting to be schooled... better rush over there and teach me my lesson. You know me over there - that guy you keep dragging back below 1000?
Challenge me to a game once you get there. Hurry and if I'm not there soon start without me.

Maybe I'll try it. I have basil and Hungarian wax peppers in my garden that I need to use. Thanks!

Ah, basil works well on a simple pizza; monterrey (sp?) jack cheese, sliced tomatoes, and a LOT of chopped garlic. Basil layered on top at the end. Of course, the problem there is more a question of getting the dough right, but if you're as fond of bread-baking as I am, it's also heartily recommended!
Electricpawn - if you can grow basil, you should try shiso - Japanese basil (also called perilla). Its the purple leaf they serve with sashimi and flavor the pickled plums, ume.

Is it commonly available in nurseries? I like to grow different herbs it pots.
I try to avoid using too much basil myself because really, you can use it on anything, and you don't notice it anymore. I like to throw a little mint on a greasy pizza, helps to give a cleaner taste to it. You can grow mint yourself too, though its a bit trickier than basil.

It's not common in nursery - may have to get seeds online. My wife and I have tried to find at local herbal greenhouses but have had no luck - even when they'll have cillantro (Chinese Parsley).
