of all these people who asked, i believe none of them made it. so it's a bit like
which reminds me of
perhaps we can hear from the eager applicants themselves.

Before the world wide web 🗺 🕸
Mods, just hung around
In the UK
In HK
In NY
so retro - i like :-) reminded me of stallone's earlier appearance in woodie allen's movie
nice, anok :-) why do mods invoke the retro in us? do we think of them as an old fashioned grumpy teacher?
Hmm too bad all of those girls are like 70 years old now )=

Hahaha hahaha haha haha 😁😂😁😂😁😂😁😂
Oh stuzzi stuzzi
Most people that ask to be mods, especially in the forums, probably never need to be.
Wanting to be staff is a bit different, depending on why it's being asked. Staff positions are paid as far as I'm aware. Making money on chess activities would be nice, instead of paying all the time
If someone is asking for power then if they somehow make it, they probably won't last long since there are certainly limits on what can be done.
why do so many want to be mod or staff?

is it about power?
well, actually more like
is it about revenge?
or actually wanting to help
do they understand it's a tough and thankless job? let's ask a former mod.
looks like he's a little preoccupied at the moment, maybe later ...
so what is it?
