like checkmating is pretty hard for us ameture players,like check is easy but finding a way to checkmate is the real pain
Do the Polgar mate in one puzzles
Checkmating shouldn't be your primary goal in the first part of the game. Trying to have a good position should. And if your opponent makes a mistake then you should react to it. And be careful to not make a blunder.

The lessons helped me a lot learning how to use my rooks and queen for checkmate. It’s usually easier to que in how to block the King in to checkmate with those pieces. I’m still learning how to position the other pieces as such, but they’re a little harder to analyze with checkmate positions right now. lol! I’ll get to those lessons soon.
