My 60 Memorable Games, #18

Sort:

OK, I finally found a way to show the whole game, move by move. There may be a few bugs here and there, but I am still perfecting the process. This is game # 18 from My 60 Memorable Games: Spassky-Fischer, 1960. Black resigns after white's 29th move.

I am posting in the General section because I think more people check this section. If that's a problem, I can post future stop-animation games in the Games Analysis or Games Showcase section.

Does "neglecting to write them down" make 61?

The Fuggers controlled the European banking system for 200 years.

The Fugs were certainly memorable!

The Fugs! Holy smokes! I haven't heard that name since my high school 'guidance' counselor confiscated my copy of Tenderness Junction!

Incidentally, Tuli Kupferberg's widow, Sylvia Topp, just published a book, Eileen: The Making of Orwell, about George Orwell's first wife. Apparently, she was 'the woman behind the great man'...........

We were talking about The Fugs a couple of weeks ago in another forum.

I'm goin' up the country, baby don't you want to go?
I'm goin' to some place, I've never been before
I'm goin' I'm goin' where the water tastes like wine
I'm goin' where the water tastes like wine
We can jump in the water, stay drunk all the time
I'm gonna leave this city, got to get away
I'm gonna leave this city, got to get away
All this fussin' and fightin' man, you know I sure can't stay
So baby pack your leavin' trunk
You know we've got to leave
