Do you think chess is a sport?????

Because too many people got hurt from other sports so they have to say chess is a sport so people can play it and they won't get hurt from it. 

Not unless if you start telling your friend " Why you always win" and one thing lead to another and then you get hurt from playing chess. 

Anyways for real, I think its a sport because there is chess news and big events and stuff like that like football and stuff.

Sit down and play 2-3 90|30 games in a tournament then you'll definitely understand why people say chess is a sport.

Chess is not a “simple” board game. It’s very difficult. Second of all, it IS a sport. Third of all, pls go to the nearest brain hospital where they check your brain if it’s working properly or not.

And it’s not “indoor game” it can be played out also🤣🤣

Sport. Oxford dictionary. ' An activity involving physical exertion( mental or physical)and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment' ...and a hell of a lot of bucks. Chess in other words is a sport

I'd say chess is more of an art than a sport.

Answer from google: an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment. 

OKay, so chess does not have much physical exertion. But why do people call it a sport? Because as you go on to higher level tourneys, the game is very intense.

People do not want chess to be confined as a 'low key' or 'board game'. They want chess to expand. And to support that, I believe it is a sport.
