So I was playing chess it was a late night I was bored so I decided to play a game of chess and then I come across this person I don't remember his username but I know exactly what happened so I saw that he blundered a knight fork between a king and a rook so then when I bring in the knight for the fork he moves his rook while it was a check! I thought this was some kind of chess bug so then I moved my knight back and then I see a check I move my bishop to the king and then he moves some other piece I cant capture the king as usual so I don't know what to do I decided to just not care about it but then I realized If I can never check then I cant checkmate I don't know what to do so I continue to play the game he blunders his queen but I can't capture I knew he was hacking why would someone hack in chess and also have you came across this case before please reply to this post I am REALLY confused
Without seeing the game, it's really not possible to give a good explanation, but it wouldn't have been hacking.
