Spell Check

What can we do about a playing field that unfairly tilts towards eggheads and bores and others who want to be smarter than their ancestors? 

What's worse, my browser has spell check but for some reason it doesn't work on this site....

I think a spell-check is a good thing , but it should not keep one from writing proper language to start with. Before I post a message , I read it again and try to eliminate my errors. Sometimes even after posting I find errors and correct them asap.
