You can change the rating levels of who you play. On the app click on the green new game and click on custom game. That's where you set the rating parameters.

Don't click on "play online" click on the big green new game button near the bottom.
Then click on custom game.
In there you set the time...type of game and the rating parameters.

Yes after you do it it remains permanent.
You might have to do it for each type of game...daily...blitz...rapid etc...
But after you set it it stays.

You can customize the rating ranges you'll play against in Settings. If you really dislike the app, use the website. The app seems to bother you more than most people.

I set my scale to +/- 150. That way you can still play tough players and learn and gain elo, but also still consistently beat people ranked below you but can't blunder against someone who is massively below you to lose elo.

Iuno how i used to play on my phone lol. The only thing i miss about playing on the phone was i can sit on the toilet an make my moves or have a smoke in my garage. Now im bound to the computer and have to clentch my but cheeks lol

There’s no way to select a range of players you desire to play against. My ELO in blitz is 1030, I don’t want to play 850’s. I have to grind to get 4 ELO from a win, while sacrificing over 12 ELO.
Clean it up, jannies. All you have to do is get your software writer to add some code to allow us to select a rating range on the app. Stop being lazy.
