Seb, you should always write your moves down of each & every game. Every time a move is made by you or your opponent you write it down. As far as I know all rated games require it in the rules. I'm sure it's like that in every country. Besides, even if it's not a rule, you should still do it because that's how you get stronger at chess. It's those games you will use to get better, by studying your own games. Or, if you get a coach (or letting players on here see & comment on them) that's one of the tools that will be used to make you better.

  If you find it distracting to write your moves down that will quickly go away the more you do it. You should start writing them down as practice, even alone playing a computer just so you get used to it.

Yes I aggree. But I find it very distracting. Why ? Well thats more of a personal question but I completly aggree that recording youre games are good because you can review them.

ok for youre game analyses :

e4 has a nice control on the center.  

2.d4 Oh man I love youre style ! Same as mine lol. Totaly dominating the position.

2.d5 If youre oponent would want to crack youre position, that is the right move.

3.nd2 No, I would of played nc3 instead so then you can keep the bishop line living.

5. Ng3 see now youre position is not as developed as it could be. You know, its to slow. The position needs progress.

6. n1e2 This blocks the bishop line again for no real reason.

8. I would of played bc4 instead since this atacks weak squares like f7. ( f7 is always weak )

14. Qe2 Thats not a bad choice. I wouldnt of took though. Woudnt of played differently.

17. Raxc1 That was the best rook to take with. Good job.

17. Nf6 The question is who is attacking who ? It seems like youre oponent is attacking you but that is not a bad thing if you can deffend well.

27. rhd8 Well now things are getting a little demanding. You just really need to get away from this powerful attack.

28. nd6 that seems like the only way you can do it.

29. Ng3 I find that a little odd, There is alot of moves where youre oponent could flee at better squares. Like example here he could go to Nh3.

shoudlnt be giving game analysis if your analysis isn't very good tbh.. for example, 29. Nh3?? gets trapped by 30. f4, black can play 30... g5 and 31. Kg2 31... g4 to save the knight but that just creates weaknesses and the knight is essentially useless.

Yes. Use a board Seb & annotate through the game as you see fit.

I was wondering the same. At first I thought it was my game then looking at more of the moves I realized it was another game. When I saw Nd6 by white thats what made me think it was mine & then realized when discussion turned to a K side knight trip it couldn't be mine. Besides, I didn't have the most profile views anyway.

But I did say it will be low quality if I do it for him ( Since he wasnt supposed to get one ) ( Only the one with the most profile views. )

Oh, that was my game. Thanx Seb. I was thinking of a completely different game earlier. I needed to win that one in order to make sure I qualified for the next stage of that tournament. The best part was the 2nd half of the game.
