what's considered cheating?

neesh

hi

i'm new and i see some occasional mention of players cheating.

I'm not sure how or what they are doing so I think it would be

important to cheating clearly defined.

apart from playing a computer and having it do the moves for you...what else?

i play turned based normaly, and i can see how people would have plenty of time

to explore openings in the opening explorer while in a match. is this cheating?

Nope. Static databases (e.g. the opening explorer) are perfectly allowed. As are books.

No calculating materials, thats all.
