If that muted member wanted to be able to comment, they shouldn't have behaved in a way that caused them to be muted in the first place...especially when they've been muted for that exact same behavior in the past.

This thread was started just to find out why he was muted. People just kept arguing here after they found out the answer.
It was not a thread for bringing MSC back.
It was not a thread for calling MSC no1 spammer.
It was not a thread where we try to tell staff to ban MSC
It was not a thread for how they should handle "first" type of comments in the daily puzzle.
Personally I don't mind going a bit off topic, but I would not blame the creator of this forum. I do think though that saying MSC deserves to be banned and call him no1 spammer is a bit insulting and should not be allowed. Just like I am not allowed to call any member a cheater that hasn't been banned for cheating.

Yes, here we are and the fact that he can't respond seems to lie in the lap of the thread creator who set the stage and script, not with the posters who are the actors in the drama.
