My family had a dog that would do that to me every morning in elementary school. That dog would take a flying leap from the hallway onto my bed and land with a 60 pound thud on my belly. Then she would proceed to take something of mine from my room, run downstairs with it, and then run outside our two-acre yard and drop it somewhere.
Forget the alarm clock, I got up to make sure the dog didn't wake me up.
