It must have taken the NYPD some intensive detecting to locate this van after multiple noise complaints were registered. The dude's got more than 50 speakers installed.

Looks like kco needs to get a snowsuit.

Meanwhile, back at the Phailure Ranch things are really heating up. As of yesterday (July 4) the measured water temperature in eastern Lake Superior is all the way up to 44°F [6.7°C]. That's too hot to meet Michigan's commercial refrigeration requirements!

Great idea!  First chance I get, I'll drive it into a hailstorm.   Laughing

Which is more powerful, the telescope or the microscope?

Are you familiar with what a "Gurney flap" is? Its usefulness was discovered by accident when trying to improve Indy car performance, and now most helicopter designs incorporate a Gurney flap.

Named after racer/car designer Dan Gurney, who first exploited it when Bobby Unser was driving for him in 1971. The history is a hoot-- I especially like the third paragraph of the history section. Cool

 Telescope vs Microscope
                ↓

According to Popular Science, the microscope takes us to a 714,000 fold improvement in vision, while the telescope only takes us to a 6,000 fold improvement; so the microscope is the winner.
