I was unsure of where to put this, so hello off topic.

Is there a set amount of inactive time after which an account is automatically closed?

I ask because in about two years I will be going on a two year mission for my church, and will not be able to be on chess.com. Basically, I am just thinking ahead.

No, most  ot the accounts ever opened here have just gone inactive. That's why there are 25+ million accounts but only 50,000 signed in. You can log in again whenever you want.

IM, it will be only for two years, around two years from now. So don*t worry, not anytime soon, and not permanent. happy.png

We proselyte, do service, help strengthen the members where we go, and learn ourselves. It*s a good experience, but we can only call or facetime our family on Christmas and Mother*s Day, email people once a week, and can send letters whenever we want.

The limited contact probably includes no Chess.com.

As for the name, alright, IMRonilm it is.
