It's true that we are naturally happy. We naturally love. We are a big ball of energetic happy love. Strong too.

People get cynical and jaded. Weary. Distrustful.
All that can be shaken off though. Like I coat we don't have to wear anymore.

I'm happy in that I'm content but I'm grieving a lost love and I'm also concerned that I haven't everything I need to he happy. I'm anxious I'll become depressed. So truth is jury is out.
I know that's a confusing answer. I suppose it's that there is a difference between experiencing happiness and being happy.

Then there is finding peace. We all think happiness is the prize but perhaps sadness and joy aren't what matter so much as being able to fully experience life through finding peace.

You know I figure often guys here don't notice how beautiful you are but I do and I couldn't be more thrilled that you've joined me.
I think that I'm really nothing special but if there's anything that's beautiful about me at all it's that I have my eyes open to beauty and I certainly see that in you.
