i beat a 1650 otb really badly once, and here i think 1830 or so, id have to check. yeah theres a big difference, the otb player was my coach for a while and his game was really sound. he played like korchnoi only not as good, but i was proud when i could beat him. the 1800's ive beaten online dont seem as good as the otb players ive faced

I faced an FM once on an otb tournament, played great, lost after 85 moves, his rating was 2350. I cried ...
1900 rtg is nothing in here but 1900 in real games is hard to get.

it is sure hard to get ELO, since I have 1573 and beat 1900+ players sometimes...
