Also we know that there is a war in Ukraine, but many players who I played recently are from Ukraine. Really bombs are falling on your street but you are playing chess. No it's not a person from Ukraine it is a "fake cheating computer account".
Has it occurred to you that people from all over the world have started using the Ukraine flag as a gesture of support and solidarity?
And do you not realize that more inland areas of Ukraine like kyiv have almost returned to normal? There’s still millions who feel safe enough to keep working so it’s not a stretch
There are definitely cheaters on chess.com and sometimes some smurf accounts, to assume chess.com is using them to manipulate people's rating is absurd why would they care what rating people are. There are people out there that will cheat for free why would they have to pay them.
tons of people change their flags to Ukraine in solidarity and i assume that there are part of Ukraine not yet seized where perhaps some players are playing as a way of calming their nerves, I know I turned to chess as a form of escapism in my own life when I was a child

Mister Chess Dot Com is tryn2be as fair as a mirror w/ the games played ! trust me...they want equitable & rep-rated play. even so...do u know how EZ it is to create a bot acct on ur own ?
...see ?...its almost beyond their control. they have to REACT to trubblemakers. they cant stop it BEFORE it happens.
